Kieran
Hi, I’m Kieran. I’m originally from the UK but have lived in Japan for over 20 years. I’ve travelled all over Japan —from big cities to tiny countryside villages—and still find something new to love every day.
I hold an MBA and an MA, but what really drives me is sharing the everyday beauty and culture of Japan, especially Tokyo, where I’m based.
I love helping people experience Japan in a more personal and memorable way—whether that’s through a quiet street with a great local snack or taking part in a traditional Kagura ceremony.
Looking forward to showing you around and making some great memories.
One of my favourite Japanese words is natsukashii (懐かしい). nostalgic feeling when something reminds you of a good memory.

Akane
Hi, I’m Akane, a working mom of two children and an experienced stylist.
I’ve lived in Tokyo my whole life and am passionate about traditional Japanese food, drink, and art. (Check out the kimono in my picture)to see the beauty of traditional Japanese design!
I’m also looking forward to take you to the places that I know my family enjoys.
One of my favorite words is ganbatte ne (がんばってね) which means “Do your best!”—something I always say to my kids..

Komaki
Hi, my name is Komaki.
I’m a qualified architect and interior designer.
I’m a national licensed tour guide of Japan based in Tokyo. I took the license in 2024.
I’m a guide who is in love with both traditional and modern culture. I love walking and taking photographs.
I have lived in London for two years to study interior design. I’ve been living in Tokyo for more than 10 years. I am still amazed with the rich and unique culture of Japan.
I would like to share it with guests to help you brighten up your trip.
